This led to natural disasters such as mudflows, which caused serious disasters in seven townships, including Songyuan, Taoyao, Baidu, Songkou, Bingcun, Yanyang, and Longwen.

According to preliminary statistics, there were 32083 people affected by the disaster in Meixian District, with 5871 houses collapsed and damaged, 1586.32 hectares of crops affected, 83.28 kilometers of roads damaged, 40 bridges damaged, 28.6 kilometers of embankments damaged, 77.5 kilometers of communication lines damaged, 189.7 kilometers of power lines damaged, and an estimated direct economic loss of about 1.063 billion yuan.
